Dana Loesch is a fierce defender of the second amendment, and her stance on gun control, which she opposes.
As a former spokesperson for the NRA, Loesch is known for berating the mainstream media as dishonest, which is ironic, since she has a long history of engaging in dishonesty herself, usually at the expense of just about anyone who disagrees with her. In other words, when Dana speaks, irony dies a screaming death.
When she isn’t complaining about the dishonest legacy media that is allegedly trying to silence conservatives like herself, she’s complaining about being smeared, as she is often smearing others. Dana, like most conservatives of her ilk, are unable to take criticism, and melt like the little snowflakes they are. Last year, after the CNN town hall, she ran to Fox News to cry about how unfairly she was treated, and that she had nearly been lynched by a mob of violent, gun grabbing leftists. Security cameras showed her calmly walking out of the building.
A dishonest hack, who once recently claimed on Fox News that she is not partisan, released a video last year in which she attacked the mainstream media with this ironic gem:
“We’ve had enough of the lies, the sanctimony, the arrogance, the hatred, the pettiness, the fake news. We are done with your agenda to undermine the voters’ will, and individual liberty in America. So, to every lying member of the media… to those who stain honest reporting with partisanship, to those who bring bias and propaganda to CNN, The Washington Post and the New York Times. Your time is running out. The clock starts now.”
Dana Loesch lecturing anyone on dishonesty, sanctimony, and arrogance, is hilarious to say the least. Dana feels comfortable judging others from her lofty perch, berating the media for everything she is guilty of – dishonesty, bias, and fake news, without a hint of irony of her own partisan hackery. She blames the so called liberal media of undermining the will of voters and individual freedom, when in reality it has been the Republican party that has actually undermined the will of the American voters by refusing gun control legislation to be voted on, and purging thousands of eligible voters in many states because they’re afraid they can’t win an election fairly without cheating, and then claim it’s Democrats that engage in questionable tactics. She blames the media for distorting honest reporting with partisanship and propaganda. Has she ever watched herself on NRATV? Her program, Relentless, was nothing but partisan BS and propaganda.
Loesch not only has a problem with any media that doesn’t tow a strictly conservative bias, but she has a problem with diversity, believing it to be a Marxist plot or some such nonsense. Last year on her NRATV program, Relentless, she put white hoods on Thomas The Tank characters to supposedly mock the libs on their identity politics obsession, and then played the victim card when criticized. She also has a problem with Black Lives Matter, falsely labeling them a hate group, and blamed them and Obama for the deaths of police officers in 2016.
These days, one of Loesch’s favorite peeves is whining about how law abiding gun owners are unfairly smeared as terrorists, but it’s nothing more than a favorite talking point that gun nuts in right wing media, like Loesch, repeat whenever the NRA comes under criticism. Which she gladly repeated during a recent segment on Fox News’s favorite show for white nationalists, Tucker Carlson Tonight.
Loesch was among the many conservatives in the media that clutched their collective pearls over former Democratic candidate Beto O’Rourke’s announcement of a gun buy back program if he were elected president. O’Rourke has since dropped out of the race, but Loesch has continued her tour of the right wing echo chamber warning of the dangers and threats to the sacred second amendment posed by violent leftist mobs that will show up at their doors to confiscate their guns, and lynch them in the process.
They also clutched their pearls over the San Francisco board of supervisor’s alleged announcement of all five million NRA members as domestic terror threats, which has had great American Patriots like Dana Loesch clutching their pearls along with their guns.
Carlson started the segment by whining about the Democratic parties alleged gun confiscation rhetoric, and the NRA being unfairly being labeled a terrorist organization.
They’re saying this for a reason, ” he said. “They’re telling you the people who have a 12 gauge at home to defend themselves are terrorists. They are setting it up to do something to those people. No?”
No. None of the Democratic candidates has ever referred to law abiding gun owners as terrorists, and the city of San Francisco’s board of supervisor’s did not call them terrorists. Conservatives who make that claim, are being disingenuous. The board was referring to the executives who run the organization because of their extremist opposition to any gun control and their use of propaganda to increase membership and gun sales.
Loesch then defended Trump’s tweet that he was being unfairly lynched by the Democrats for no other reason because they hate him, and that “these same law makers have been calling innocent, law abiding Americans, referring to them as quote, ‘domestic security threats and terrorists,” when in reality they have not.
If Obama had been the one caught making a quid pro quo with a foreign power, attempting to dig up some dirt on a Republican opponent, conservatives would be losing their s**t. When they claimed that Obama had illegally spied on the Trump campaign, without any evidence, we were all expected to believe it, but now that the shoe is on Trump’s foot, there is absolutely no evidence that he did anything wrong, even though there have been hearings where witnesses have testified that he did.
“Yeah, that ‘lynching’ is just noise,” Carlson said. “But I think you’re absolutely right. So, just to be clear, they are calling Americans who committed no crime, who pose no threat, who merely want to exercise their constitutional right, a terrorist? But what do you do to terrorists?”
Loesch criticized Bernie Sanders for wanting to allow convicted felons to vote, that AOC wants to end Mass incarceration of ( non violent ) criminals, and that the commie socialist Democrats want to implement the Red Flag law as an incentive to take guns away from law abiding citizens while they’re simultaneously smearing them as terrorists.
Conservatives can cry and whine all they want about the radical left coming for their guns, but in the real world it’s never going to happen. The gun lobby – the NRA and other gun rights groups – is too powerful, and because of that influence Republicans have blocked gun reform every step of the way, despite public support for universal background checks at an all-time high, approximately 90% according to Politifact. Even a majority of NRA members ( about 70% ), again according to Politifact, support universal background checks. But Dana Loesch won’t admit that fact. She believes gun control is evil, and unconstitutional, which proves she is anything but patriotic. Last year, after the Thousand Oaks, CA shooting, she tweeted this little gem:
“What happened was horrific. Evil is real. So are CA gun laws:
Don’t expect hoards of leftist mobs to confiscate guns from law abiding citizens any time soon. It’s the wet dream of every gun nut like Dana Loesch and Tucker Carlson. If it were to happen, it would be in a world without the NRA, and the politicians they own. You can rest assured that Dana and Tucker will bravely fight the crazed hoards of gun grabbing leftists.
While in the middle of a segment on the Kentucky shooting outside a Kroger’s store last October, CNN’s Don Lemon said something that triggered the sensitive feelings of totally not racist right-wingers.
“I keep trying to point out to people not to demonize any one group or ethnicity, ” he told Chris Cuomo. “But we keep thinking the bigger terror threat is something else – some people who are marching toward the border like it’s imminent. The last time they did this, a couple hundred people and they, most of them, didn’t get into the country. Most of them tired out before they reached the border.
“ So, we have to stop demonizing people and realize the biggest terror threat in this country is white men radicalized to the right, and we have to do something about them. There is no travel ban – you know, they had the Muslim ban. There is no white guy ban. So, what do we do about that?”
Lemon was making a point when he said he tells people not to demonize ethnic groups – conservatives do it all the time – but of course, that went completely over the heads of his triggered critics. And all it took was one line from his entire comment – the biggest terror threat is white men radicalized to the right – for conservatives to lose their s**t.
Greg Jarrett of Fox News wrote:
“CNN’s Don Lemon has now removed all doubt that he is a racist, hypocrite and an idiot all rolled into one. Quite the accomplishment.”
Meanwhile, over at the Fox News channel there is still some doubt as to whether there is any racism going on. Apparently, no one there has ever referred to asylum seekers as criminals, or animals, even though they are coming here just to see how many of those high paying jobs they can steal, sell drugs to real s**t kicking Americans, spread diseases, and commit as many crimes as possible before they can be caught and sent back. God knows they can’t be coming here to get away from all that same s**t.
Fox pundit Brit Hume wrote:
“I could hardly believe he actually said it. But the video shows he actually did. Remarkable.“
I find it remarkable that not one Republican in media can admit to their own faults or prejudices. When a Democrat says or does something that’s racially insensitive, everyone on the left is held accountable, but when a Republican does it, they accuse leftists of being racist for calling it out. There is no accountability.
I suspect that most conservatives are probably mature enough to admit that Lemon was making some sense. There is no media hysteria over white domestic terrorism, like there is with other forms of terrorism. There is no white guy ban, there are no talks of deportation proceedings whenever a white supremacist shooter walks into a synagogue with an AR-15 screaming about HIAS bringing invaders into America to kill their people. But MAGA chumps are immature and have abandoned all reason and decency when it comes to immigration. Brown skinned people coming across the southern border are nothing more than criminals to them, who should be locked in cages like animals simply for wanting a better shot at life. The right-wing echo chamber has them firmly convinced that refugees and asylum seekers are an invading force that is a prelude to white genocide.
Mollie Hemingway of the Federalist:
“Uhhhhhh… CNN’s Don Lemon: Stop demonizing people. Also, white men are terrorists.”
Right-wing commentators in media have no problem holding all Muslims accountable when an Islamic shooter is involved. But applying the same standards to white domestic terrorists is somehow racist? Sorry, not buying that s**t.
Mark Levin, who, in the past called America’s first black president a racist and anti-Semite, tweeted:
“CNN’s Don Lemon, lunatic.”
Mark Levin calling anyone a lunatic is not only ironic, it’s a hoot given the fact that he spent the entire previous eight years screaming at Obama in his girly, petulant, nasally voice.
Ben Cohen of the Daily Banter wrote this of Levin in 2016: “Levin is a repulsive stereotype of Republican assholishness. His nasally high pitched whining about liberals and gays, passes for political commentary in America. There is no one the joyless Mark Levin hates more than president Obama, a man who represents everything Levin is not. Obama is charismatic, powerful, and charming, while Levin is physically repellent and as likeable as a fart in an elevator. No matter the situation, Levin always finds a way to turn whatever current event may have occurred into an opportunity to attack Obama and ‘leftists’ he believes are trying to destroy America.”
Fox News Christian zealot, Todd Starnes:
“CNN’s Don Lemon: ” The biggest terror thereat in this country is white men. Is that unadulterated racism or bigotry?”
Call it what you will. What’s racist is the constant race baiting that occurs at Fox News, repeating white supremacist rhetoric, and attacking refugees and asylum seekers as criminals, and being less than human.
Donald Trump Jr. had perhaps the dumbest tweet of them all:
Sadly, the real joke in this situation is junior, the real moron. He’s even dumber than his old man, if that’s even possible.
One doesn’t have to imagine if “white men” were replaced with any other demographic. Fox News and other right-wing media have been doing the same thing for years with their “scary brown and black people” narratives, and no one on the mainstream right sees the irony. I guarantee not one right-winger who lost their ever loving minds over this, even noticed the hypocrisy.
From the linked article:
“Fox News contributor Deroy Murdoch said the racism coming from the left and mainstream media has become “breathtaking,” pointing to Lemon’s comment as the latest example.
The claim of racism coming from the left, is bizarre to say the least. Anyone who has been paying attention to the news of late, would know that this is an absurd charge. One has only to watch right-wing media, Fox News in particular, to see the blatant racism, bigotry, and xenophobia on full display. And it is indeed breathtaking. The attacks on four elected progressive congresswomen, the bigotry and death threats they’ve had to put up with simply for daring to be critical of Israel, by an egomaniacal president, and his lap dogs and sycophants in Trump media who shamelessly defend and excuse his bigotry.
“Lemon’s latest spurt of acid is a most unusual plea for national unity. Painting with a roller rather than a broad brush, Lemon slams millions of his fellow Americans. He does not say they are wrong, mistaken, or misinformed. Rather, they are a terror threat.”
Yes, white men radicalized by white supremacist ideology, are indeed a terror threat. That’s simply a fact they refuse to allow to penetrate their overly thick skulls. Recent events have proven that to be the case. But conservatives like Murdoch are only interested in one thing. Advancing the right-wing narrative that only Muslims are terrorists, thereby painting millions of American Muslims with a broad brush when a lone Islamic shooter commits an act of violence. They’re never mentally ill lone wolves like their white counterparts.
“Even worse, Lemon advises, ‘We have to start doing something about them.’ I shudder at the thought of what Lemon has in mind.“
I have no idea what Lemon may have had in mind, if anything. But I do know what conservatives like Murdoch would have done if Lemon had been talking about the Islamic terror threat, or an undocumented immigrant who committed a crime. Instead of calling CNN fake news for once, they would have been creaming themselves in ecstacy, and calling for the round up of every Muslim American, and or immigrant. When it’s a white person, a right-winger radicalized by antisemitism, hatred of Muslims, or hatred of immigrants, circle the wagons and cry racism.
“Lemon has been widely condemned for different rhetoric on Monday’s episode of ‘CNN Tonight’. Lemon injected race into a discussion of topics including the antisemitic, Trump-hating gunman who killed eleven worshipers in a Pittsburgh synagogue last week, and the Trump supporter suspected of sending mail bombs to Democrats.”
So, correctly calling the antisemitic shooter in Pittsburgh, a right-winger, is injecting race? He did that when he decided to target Americans who are Jewish.
“The right-wing group killed a woman in Charlottesville. This guy is a right-winger who killed the people in the synagogue. The right-winger sent bombs to CNN and Democrats. I don’t see Democrats killing people.”
Apparently Steve Scalise, who had recently survived a shooting by a “deranged leftist,” reacted to the fact that no Democrat in recent history had killed anyone, by posting a watching eyes emoji while his spokesperson, Lauren Fine, condemned Lemon’s remark.
She latter told Fox News:
“Steve Scalise was nearly assassinated by a leftist who came to a baseball field with the specific intention of murdering several Republican members of Congress. While that reality may be inconvenient for the narrative that Don Lemon is trying to push, the fact remains that Democrats do in fact have an issue with political violence that cannot be ignored or swept under the rug.”
The reality that is inconvenient for people like Fine, is that the Republican party has a serious problem with political violence, and they have conveniently swept it under the rug. They tell their voting base that groups like Black Lives Matter, and Antifa are a threat to law and order; right-wing opinion commentators tell their viewers that refugees from Guatemala and Honduras are less than human and should be treated like invaders, instead of telling them the reasons why they come here. The truth is, only one party has continuously used dehumanizing and dangerous rhetoric against those they deem to be a threat to their way of life – in this case, Muslims, and immigrants – and their media cohorts have willingly aided and abetted them without consequence.
Murdoch ended his idiotic rant with:
“The American left, of which ‘objective journalist’ Lemon clearly is a leader, is good at only one thing – psychological projection. Rather than contend with their own flaws, they accuse others of bearing them. Lemon and his ilk accuse President Trump of being racist, which serves as an incredibly thin cover for their own racist divisive rhetoric. The only good news here is that the American people increasingly see past the Left’s psychological self delusion and recognize these people as what they are… increasingly violent bigots.”
Murdoch is clearly full of s**t. He knows he’s full of s**t, he just doesn’t care that he’s full of s**t. Claiming that the left are violent bigots, when you have mass shooting after mass shooting coming from the political right, who are spurred on by right-wing media vilification of dark skinned foreigners, clearly demonstrates the hilarity of such a claim.
According to him, it’s Democrats and leftists that are the real racists for accusing the president of being racist. In other words, calling someone a racist is just as bad or worse than actual racism. Fine, let’s go with that.
After the passage of the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act, the Republican party embraced the southern strategy to appeal to racial resentment in white voters. That same strategy was embraced by many Republican voters during the 2018 primaries and midterms. White supremacist Russell Walker ran for the House Of Representatives in North Carolina; Arthur Jones, a Nazi ran, for Illinoi’s third Congressional district; pro confederate candidate, Corey Stewart won Virginia’s Republican primary; Paul Nielen ran for Wisconsin’s fifth district ; John Fitzgerald, ran for California’s eleventh Congressional district.
For years, Republicans have accused the Democrats of perpetrating massive voter fraud, while they themselves have actually engaged in voter suppression tactics by purging eligible voters , claiming it will somehow deter voter fraud, or some such bulls**t. Trump once complained that up to three million undocumented immigrants voted illegally in the last election without providing any evidence.
When Republicans slam the social safety net as racist, that it’s nothing more than a ploy to get the black vote to keep them complacent on the ‘Democratic Plantation, don’t you dare call them racist. Everyone knows it’s racist to help others in time of need, especially black people.
When Republicans claim that the first black president was illegitimate, that he was the least vetted of all the presidents, don’t you dare call them racist. They’re concerned patriots.
When Republicans call the black president a Marxist, and a secret, radical left-wing, socialist Muslim who hated his own country, even though he was a center right Democrat, whose foreign policy was no more radical than George Bush’s, don’t you dare call them racist.
When Republicans claim the black president hated police officers and started a war on them, don’t call them racist. The real racists are that black president who once had the audacity to criticize a white police officer, and black people who dare accuse law enforcement of systemic racism.
When unhinged psychopath, and NRA board member, SpongeTed Squishy Pants encourages well-known political figures he despises to suck on the barrels of his machine guns, and tells Alex Jones that Democrats need to be shot like rabid dogs, don’t you dare call him violent.
When unhinged gun fetishist Dana Loesch tells her viewers that mainstream journalists are the rat bastards of the earth that should be curbed stomped for being critical of Trump, don’t you dare accuse her of inciting violence.
When SpongeTed calls for the shooting of undocumented immigrants, don’t you dare call him violent, or racist. SpongeTed is a great American patriot.
When a smirking, egomaniacal Dana Loesch calls for armed insurrection against Trump critics, don’t you dare accuse her of calling for violence.
When Republicans racially attack elected Congresswomen of color who have dared to be critical of their own government and that of Israel’s government, accusing them of hating their own country, and accusing them of being sympathetic to terrorists, don’t you dare call them Islamaphobic. It’s really ( wink, wink ) all about their policies and nothing to do with the fact that two are Muslim, and one a Latino.
When black people dare complain about systemic racism, and organize to fight against it, they’re called thugs, terrorists, and accused of calling for the deaths of police officers, but don’t you dare call Republicans racist.
When refugees who cross the southern border, or seek asylum at points of entry, are called invaders, murderers, pawns of the Democratic party who want to use them to replace the white demographic, don’t you dare call Republicans racist.
When white domestic shooters, radicalized by the vilification of Muslims, Jews , and undocumented immigrants on right-wing media and social media, shoot up a Mosque, or a synagogue, or target Hispanic and Latino Americans as an invading force that must be eradicated, there is no consequence for right wing media. Don’t you dare call them racist.
When the president of the United States asks his followers how to deal with Hispanic invaders, and someone shouts out shoot them, don’t you dare call them racist.
When the president refers to Nazis who were responsible for the death of a peaceful protester, as fine people, don’t call him a racist.
When a smug Dana Loesch puts Klan hoods on the heads of Thomas The Tank characters to complain about diversity, don’t you dare call her racist.
When Republicans predictably repeat the same talking point, “What about black on black crime?” after every mass shooting, don’t you dare call them racist.
When Fox News pundits tell their viewers that Black Lives Matter are a terrorist group that advocates for the death of police officers, and are more of a threat than white supremacist terrorists that have actually killed, don’t you dare call them racist.
It’s just so unfair to judge them all, to paint them all with a broad brush, even though they wouldn’t hesitate to do the same with a Muslim, a brown skinned immigrant, a black person, a Democrat, or a liberal.
I could paint them all with a broad brush, but I know not all Republicans are racist or bigoted. So, instead, I will call them what they really are. Insensitive, judgmental a**holes, that are not fooling anyone but their gullible viewers with their “racist, violentLeft” bulls**t narrative.
Since the latest mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, right-wing media commentators have been falling over themselves to deflect any responsibility for the tragedies, away from the president.
On Sunday night’s Media Buzz, host Howard Kurtz decried the media’s reaction to the shootings, saying that it was unfair to place the blame on president Trump.
“We just heard Beto O’Rourke saying on CNN that president Trump actually encouraged this sort of thing, with what he said after Charlottesville. And I knewthis was coming. It’s the pattern after every shooting. Often it’s about gun control.
“I understand that the president’s actions and verbiage are going to be a part of this debate – but to suggest that he’s responsible, that he’s encouraging, that he’s condoning the actions of a crazed gunman, seems to me to be horribly unfair on the media’s part. Politicians can do it, they’re running for office. But should the media tolerate this?”
Has the media gone a little over the top in their accusations that Trump is to blame? Yes, and no. Yes, he shares a responsibility through the divisive language he has used, especially in regard to immigration. Is he directly responsible? Certainly not. He didn’t pick up a gun himself and pull the trigger. But his language when speaking of illegal immigrants, referring to them as criminals, and rapists, and referring to them as an invading horde that must be stopped, certainly play a partial role.
Conservative panelist Katherine Timpf claims to disagree with the language used by the president regarding immigration, but also believes it’s unfair of the media to blame him.
“Unfair is the word that I would use here,” she said, “and I say this as someone who has had problems with some of the things Trump has said about immigration in the past. I certainly do not agree with Trump on immigration.”
At a recent rally Trump asked, “How do you stop these people?” To which, someone in the audience shouted, “You shoot them!” “Only in the pan handle can you get away with that!” Trump replied.
Do conservatives like Timpf and Kurtz – whom are both considered to be intelligent – actually believe that some unhinged person was not going to hear that and not act on it? Apparently so. Conservatives who support Trump don’t seem to understand this, and obviously don’t care to.
Timpf continued: “However, I’ve seen a few columns. There’s one in the Intercept basically saying the same thing Beto is saying, that Trump is responsible for this, and that’s just insane. Obviously Trump doesn’t want to see all these people murdered. Nobody wants to see something like this. They’re crazed lunatics. And if this manifesto does turn out to be from this shooter then yes, I would definitely call it domestic terrorism, and white supremacist, anti- immigrant terrorism… but to blame president Trump, that’s just – illogical, in addition to being unfair.”
Kurtz brought up the ridiculous notion that the same level of blame could be assigned to Barack Obama concerning his rhetoric against law enforcement officers after their deaths, which he added would be wrong.
“The president has already issued a statement callingthis a hateful act, and a cowardly act. At the same time I feel a sense of deja vu. During the Obama administration sometimes when police officers were killed, certain conservative commentators would go on air and say ‘Obama has blood on his hands because of his anti-law enforcement policies. Well, he did not and president Trump did not.
“It’s fair to challenge his rhetoric and handling of the immigration Issue. But to suggest that he would in any way be condoning the shooting of so many innocent people is something the media needs to be really careful about.”
Whether Kurtz is aware of it or not, he’s wrong. The same level of responsibility could not be assigned to Obama. Obama had no anti-law enforcement policies. He never engaged in anti-police rhetoric; he never stated that he hated the police, or even spoke negatively of law enforcement, despite what conservatives claimed.
He never engaged in divisive language when criticizing his political opponents. He never told his Republican counterparts – especially those of color – to go back to Africa. He never publicly referred to Republican run cities as ‘rat-infested,’ or crime ridden. He never accused Republicans who criticized his policies of being un-American. He never accused his political opponents of having sympathies to terrorist organizations.
Ironically, it was Obama who Republicans told to go back to Africa, who they accused of being un-American, of having terrorist sympathies.
Timpf brought up the media’s double standard concerning the Steve Scalise shooting.
“Remember the shooting at the congressional baseball game? That guy was a Bernie supporter and nobody brought that up.”
Whether Timpf was aware of it or not, she was also wrong. It was mentioned in the media. They just never assigned blame to Bernie Sanders because he never engaged in violent rhetoric leading up to the shooting. But there were many in right-wing media who very willing to tie him to Sanders. Several of them were Fox News commentators. Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, and Eric Bolling, not only blamed Bernie Sanders for inspiring Hodgkinson, but the entire left.
Since the shootings occurred, the president and some of his supporters in media have been engaging in what about isms. “Whatabout the shootings under Obama?” They have been asking. Nobody blamed him.”
As I have previously mentioned, he was blamed not only for the rash of police deaths, but also for the rash of Islamic terror attacks at home and abroad, because he wouldn’t use the politically correct term when denouncing those attacks.
Where was the call for unity when police officers were shot and killed several years ago in Dallas, New York, and Louisiana? Was Laura Ingraham , or anyone else on Fox News – or right-wing media, for that matter – calling for both parties to come together in unity? I don’t recall any pleas for unity from conservatives when these types of events occurred when Obama was president. They were too busy playing the Obama blame game. It was always Obama’s fault, it was the fault of the Democrats, the fault of the liberals, the progressives, the liberal media, and Black Lives Matter.
Everyone and everything was to blame, but guns, and the fact that anyone in America, regardless of their mental health, can get easy access to an assault weapon.
Right-wing media was deep in their partisan bubble, repeating their laughable narrative that Obama was stoking a war on cops with “anti police sentiment” or “rhetoric,” that this alleged rhetoric was somehow partly responsible for “contributing to violence against police officers.” Glenn Beck, employed by Fox News in 2009 during the arrest of a black Harvard law professor, accused the former president of being a racist for his criticism of a white police officer in his decision to arrest Dr. Gates. That was when this long record of alleged anti- cop sentiment/rhetoric supposedly began. From that point on, the rush to blame Obama became the norm when there was a shooting during his tenure in the White House.
Of course, anyone who actually did any research into this narrative, knew it was nothing more than propaganda. All one had to do was read the transcripts of the comments and the speeches he made after each of these shooting events to realize it was a lie, a lie that was part of the right-wing agenda to smear him as unamerican. In each of these addresses, he had nothing but praise for law enforcement. But right-wing pundits frequently gave him the middle finger by pretending the opposite was true, and they were all too eager to get on Fox News and other right-wing news outlets, and make fools of themselves by repeating this bogus narrative over and over again , driving it home to their viewers, who in turn spread the bogus “Obama hates police” narrative all over social media.
“How sad that for Democrats the weekend shootings are not national tragedies to be addressed in unity, ” Ingraham said Monday. “But the final epilogue of a play they opened four years ago.
“Why are we picking through the words of evil lunatics trying to connect the dots and figure it all out? Whether Inspired on the right or the left, they’re nuts. Period. What the country needs now is healing and unity.”
When police officers were shot and killed in Dallas during a Black Lives Matter march, right-wing media, Fox hosts and contributors, were not too concerned about healing and unity. When two police officers in New York were ambushed and killed by a black shooter, they were not too concerned about whether he was mentally ill or not. In both cases they were certain Obama, and Black Lives Matter were to blame, and that they both had it in for law enforcement. They were “pickingthroughthewords” of a president who they claimed had a record of “anti-police sentiment.” They were calling for the heads of Barack Obama, Bill De Blasio, and Black Lives Matter. Rudy Giuliani was touring the right-wing echo chamber repeating his embarrassing, and completely bogus “Obama hates cops” narrative, for which all the fact-checkers ripped him a new pie hole.
“We’ve had four months of propaganda, starting with the president that everyone should hate the police, ” he said on Fox News.
Conservatives were not pleading for unity after these events. Nor did they care about facts. Their only concern was to politicize and assign blame, and the Barack Obama was always the chief source of that blame.
Lisa Boothe of the Washington Examiner tweeted:
“Sick to my stomach to see news of the Dallas police shooting. I wish @POTUS would seek to unite the country rather than further divide it.”
Is Lisa Boothe sick to her stomach too see that Trump is dividing the country with his anti-immigrant rhetoric? No, she’s not. Like most conservatives, she has no principles when it comes to truth and honesty, and is more than willing to place the blame at the feet of Obama and Democrats when someone is killed, but daddy Trump is not to be criticized.
John Nolte of Breitbart News tweeted:
“Racist terrorists in #Black Lives Matter knowthat Obama is winking at them.”
“Obama condemning what he inspired and stoked!”
“Time to hold Obama accountable. This Baton Rouge blood is on his hands for inviting racist cop haters to the WH.
Joe Walsh ( former congressman ):
“Cops are being killed in America because of the ugly lie by Obamaand BLM that cops are racist and gunning down black men. That’s a lie!”
“This is now war! Watch out Obama! Watch out BLM punks! Real America Is coming after you!”
At no time did Obama ever incite violence against these police officers, nor did he ever call them racist. Ironically, it was Joe Walsh and other conservatives on social media who were inciting violence against a sitting president.
Congressman Steve King:
“Dallas police shooting has roots in anti-white/cop events illuminated by Obama. Officer Crowley. There were others.”
After Obama came out with his statement criticizing a Cambridge, Mass police officer for arresting a black Harvard law professor on his own property, racists like Steve King lost their minds, and accused him of being prejudiced against white people, for which he was forced to hold a ridiculous “beer summit” to try and appease the snowflakes.
Keith Ablow, Former Fox News contributor and disgraced psychiatrist, on Fox News, accusing Obama of stoking racism, as he’s on a network where many of its commentators routinely stoke racial discord:
“Who takes a phone call from a president? Instead of saying, ‘I’m sorry, aren’t you the guy that started this? This is the president that inflamed racial discord in this country and put a target on the backs of American police officers.”
These comments highlight the willingness of conservatives to lie to advance the agenda of a party that portrayed a president as anything but unifying in times of tragedy.
Trump loving Republicans and their state run media ( Trump TV , Fox , Newsmax , NRATV ) and print ( Breitfart , Town Hall , World Nut Daily , Rightwing News , American Thinker , etc. ) , were convinced that Barack Obama was worse than one of histories most notorious authoritarian dictators. He was also a radical socialist , Marxist communist , and a radical , anti American Muslim who was soft on radical Islamic terrorism.
He was like Hitler in every way they said he was :
The Affordable Care Act , or Obama care. It’s common knowledge these days that Obama murdered millions of Americans with the death panels in the Affordable Care Act. Just like Hitler did.
Abortion. Did you know that Obama is also personally responsible for every abortion every woman in Americahas ever had? He really is like Hitler!
Gun Control. Like Hitler , Obama cried fake crocodile tears over the children massacred at Sandy Hook Elementary , and then confiscated every single gun in America , and in the process rounded up roughly 300 million gun owners into FEMA prison camps , where they remained until Saint Donald came along , liberated them and gave them back their guns.
Immigration. Obama killed more Americans during his two terms with immigration reform , just like Hitler did. Michael Savage said so , so it must be true.
The anti nuke Iran Deal. According to Mike Huckabee , like Hitler , Obama killed millionsof Jews , personally marching them toward the Auschwitz ovens , just like Hitler did , when he allowed Iran to build nuclear weapons.
Executive Orders. Apparently , Obama ruled by decree with a pen and a phone , just as Hitler did.
For eight years , conservative Republicans convinced themselves they were living in a dictatorship akin to Nazi Germany. Now that their favorite reality star is president , they’re butt hurt that liberals and progressives are giving Trump the same respect they gave Obama.
Irony and hypocrisy means nothing to these morons.
